America Reads

America Reads employs Federal Work Study eligible Northern Arizona University undergraduate students. The fundamental purpose of the America Reads Program is to complement and expand existing successful literacy efforts to help children increase their skills and achievement levels, and to provide children who need additional help in reading with extended learning time. 

Applicants must have experience working with children.

To apply, submit an application electronically to americareads@nau.edu.  Tutors are hired at the beginning of each semester.
