America Reads employs Federal Work Study eligible Mountain Campus (Flagstaff) Northern Arizona University undergraduate students. The fundamental purpose of the America Reads Program is to complement and expand existing successful literacy efforts to help children increase their skills and achievement levels, and to provide children who need additional help in reading with extended learning time.
To be eligible to apply, applicants must have experience working with children and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and must reside in the Flagstaff area. To apply, submit an application electronically. Tutors are hired at the beginning of each term.
