David Grider

Associate Professor of Construction Management

I am first and foremost a professional educator.  I have over twenty-five years of university educational and vocational training experience.

I was a member of the Carpenters Union for 30 years and I am a member of the American Institute of Constructors. I still enjoy builidng things , my last major project was a large horse barn, tack shop and RV storage facility for my small horse property just outside of Flagstaff.

(Giving away my age) I was the project superintendent on the Walkup Skydome. (NAU's football stadium). At the time of its construction it was one of the largest timber structures in the world.

Two things I enjoy the most are horseback riding and motorcycle riding (BMW Motorcylces Owners of America)
