We are proud of our adjunct and associate faculty, who support our undergraduate and graduate teaching endeavors
We are also proud of the close relationship that we have with Coconino Community College in Flagstaff and with the greater Flagstaff community.
Our first-year, experiential labs are held at the the Community College 4th Street campus. Utilizing the community colleges extensive hands on construction facilities, we have been able to build usable modular facilities that are donated to charity or sold for cost recovery.
Each semester, for the last few years, our first year students either: engaged in a service learning community support project or they have attended a ten week hands-on practicum.
Each semester for the last two years we have built at least four modular sprouting-sheds and greenhouses for charity. Among the charities are: Hozhoni Foundation, Northland Hospice (The Olivia White Hospice Home) Flagstaff High Schools, and NAU.
During 2007 and 2008 we will be designing and building bird of prey mews for High Country Raptors Inc. at The Arboretum at Flagstaff
