To help you budget for educational expenses, Northern Arizona University offers a convenient, low-cost way to spread fall and spring tuition charges throughout the semester.  If signing up for the payment plan two months into a semester, you can choose a three-month installment plan.  Plus, we now offer a three-month installment plan for summer. 

 

Automatic Payment Plan

To ensure that your fall and spring classes are saved, even if you miss the tuition payment deadline, enrolled students who have not paid their tuition and fees by the payment deadline will automatically be placed on a tuition payment plan and charged the $100 payment plan service fee.

If you have been awarded financial aid, you will have until the tuition payment deadline to pay any balance on your tuition not covered by aid.  Any outstanding balance if more than $500 will automatically be placed on the Tuition Payment Plan.

The automatic payment plan does not occur for summer classes.  Tuition not paid in full or on a payment plan by the due date will result in class cancellation.

Flagstaff Mountain Campus Students

Fall 4-month: August 1st – November 1st. 

Spring 4-month: December 15th – March 15th. 

Summer 3-month: June 1st – August 1st.

Extended Campuses Students

Fall 5-month: August 1st – December 1st. 

Spring 5-month: January 15th – May 15th. 

Summer 3-month: June 1st – August 1st.

 

Steps for enrolling in the payment plan:

1. Register for classes.  (Payment plan is set up only after you enroll in classes)
   
   
2. Complete the online enrollment form.  Once your form has been submitted  and processed a payment plan enrollment fee will be posted to your LOUIE account (This process may take up to 3 business days). 
   
   
3. Payment Methods: 

• After the payment plan enrollment fee is posted to your LOUIE account, please log in to make an online payment toward your Tuition Payment Plan with your Discover, Mastercard, American Express or E-check.
  
• To pay with a check or money order please include student ID number on the check or money order and remit to:
