Cultural Tours

Often, the best metaphor for understanding your organization’s culture or your own personal perspective is to experience the strengths and richness of another culture. Seeing the world through 'new' eyes can give you insights into the dynamics of your workplace.

The School of Hotel and Restaurant Management offers customized cultural tours of Native landsexplorations of cultural treasures not available to the casual traveler. Participants connect with medicine people, storytellers, entertainers, and talented artisans. Cultural opportunities can also include participating in dances and ceremonies, sweat lodge, and experiencing powerful natural Native landscapes. Learners of all kinds find meaning through history, ceremony, music, art, and the rhythms of a daily life connected to the land.

Tours are customized for groups of 10 or more for extended weekends or week long stays.
