Biography
I am a very athletic, out-going person. I am involved with the intramural indoor soccer and football programs. I am also involved with Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity and the Criminal Justice Club. I work on campus part-time and I am a student panelist at the Open House events. Working on campus is great because it is easy to get from work to class, I can just walk to either. After graduation, I plan to attend law school. After law school graduation, I am going to dive into politics by running for governor or the senate. After which I will run for President of the United States.
Why did you choose to attend Northern Arizona University?
Northern Arizona is the perfect university for me. Three factors helped me make my decision. First, I really enjoy the friendliness of the people on campus and in the Flagstaff community. I like the relaxed atmosphere of the area; it is very laid-back. Last but not least, I like the cool climate and beautiful location the four seasons and the scenic views right here from campus.
What do you like best about Northern Arizona University?
There is plenty to like about this university. What I like best is the faculty and their commitment to teaching. My professors have been genuinely concerned about my success not only in their courses but in also my future endeavors. I like the diversity of campus too. I've broadened my horizons by meeting new friends, learning about them and their backgrounds.
What advice would you give a prospective student?
I would recommend that students look for several things when considering colleges. Look for a campus that you think you will enjoy being on. Can you picture yourself walking across campus each day and hanging out for four years? Find a university where the faculty and staff are interested in giving you the best educational experience. Do they have office hours, can you get involved in their research? Finally, find a university that matches your personality. The college you choose should be everything you want and need. Don't settle!
Describe the best professor you've had here and explain why.
The best professor I've had while attending here is Dr. Joel Olsen. His political ideologies course was an eye-opening experience. He pushed me, along with every student in this class to the brink of madness. I came out of the course, and I think others did too, more knowledgeable about the different ideologies and a better understanding of my beliefs.
Describe what it is like living on campus.
Living on campus is great. Some would say that sharing a room and a bathroom is not an ideal situation, but I think there are so many opportunities to meet people and network. It is the perfect way to get involved. Activities and events are always happening on campus to attend. Living on campus makes it convenient to attend these activities and classes.
