The pledge is our commitment to help undergraduate students enrolled on the Flagstaff campus and their families plan for the cost of a 4 year college education – no surprises, no guessing.

Beginning with new freshmen and transfer students entering the Flagstaff campus fall 2008:

Students will pay the same tuition rate for 4 years
Students awarded gift aid (grants) will have the same amount of gift aid guaranteed for 4 years.³
Students will see no increase in their meal plan rates for 2 years ²
Freshmen living on campus will see no increase in housing rates for 2 years ¹
Freshmen may be eligible for our Finish in Four guaranteed graduation program

Current students on the Flagstaff campus also have an opportunity to participate in this new program:

Current full-time students will pay the same tuition for up to 8 semesters.
Students can still pay tuition using the payment plan.
Students can still remain eligible for all financial assistance offered by the university.

¹ Freshmen who live in Freshman Connections halls their first year will see no increase in housing rates for two years.
² This meal plan rate is based upon a 14 meal plan example; rates will vary if another plan is selected.
³ Student must meet required grade point average and credit hours criteria for renewal.
