4. Discover your options

Both you and NAU will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) which lists your office EFC.  Once we process your FAFSA, the Office of Student Financial Aid will design a financial assistance package to meet your individual needs.

Your financial aid options may include need-based and non-need-based awards.  Need-based awards are designated for students with a greater financial need.  Non-need-based awards use other factors to determine eligibility.  Some students may receive both types of awards.  When you apply for assistance, we will consider you for all programs for which you are eligible.
