5. Check for scholarships

Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis once you have been offered admission, so make sure you apply for admission as early as possible.  Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, financial need, athletic, or artistic talent.  Some have specific requirements or conditions that must be met, and many awards are renewable each year.

A Scholarship Interest Form allows us to search additional scholarships on your behalf.  We recommend that you complete the form at nau.edu/scholarships by March. On our website, you can also get a list of scholarships and find links to additional awards from outside the university.
