I'm a parent of a student and I pay all the bills. Why can't I have the details of my student's account?

The Bursar's Office is legally bound by FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) regulations that prevent us from releasing information to anyone other than the student. For details on charges or available financial aid, please check with your student. Permission forms are available in the Office of the Registrar for students that wish to grant release of information. Or you may visit the Registrar's web site at: http://home.nau.edu/registrar
