What Matters to Me: As a student at NAU it always felt like I was home. There was always someone to talk about anything. My teachers always had time for me. As an admissions counselor I enjoy seeing students succeed. My favorite part about this job is being able to help a student get into to college when they taught this was not a possibility.
Best Tips for High School Juniors and Seniors: The best advice I can give incoming juniors and seniors is to keep up with their classes grades. They should also set up regular meetings with their high school counselors to make sure they are taking care of all their requirements to get in to college.
Best Tips for Transfer Students: As a former transfer student the best advice I can give is not to transfer worrying about graduating. Enjoy your college life at NAU it is a great experience.
Best Tip for Getting Involved on Campus: The best way to get involved on Campus is to go to the Multicultural Student Center and just hangout. There you will hear about new clubs organizations which you can join.
The Advice I Wish I'd Gotten or Paid Attention to Before College: I wish I would have known about the National Exchange Student program I would have love to study at different universities across the country. Who could ever hate spending a semester in University of Hawaii?
Why I think you should consider NAU: You'll enjoy the benefits of small classes, friendly people, a great community and teachers who know will your name.
