Flagstaff is the cultural hub of northern Arizona, with a bustling music, art, and entertainment scene, great restaurants, and the best coffee shops south of Seattle. It is nestled at the base of the majestic San Francisco Peaks—about 140 miles north of Phoenix, 45 minutes from the red rocks of Sedona, and 75 miles from the incomparable Grand Canyon.
At 7,000 feet, Flagstaff enjoys four seasons. Winters average 108 inches of snow a year, yet the average annual days of sunshine is 288. In the summer, temperatures reach into the 80's, with warm days and cool nights.
