Our History

The NAU Phi Theta Kappa Alumni Association is the first chartered in the state of Arizona.  Our goal is to remain connected to our community through an organization that is centered on academics, fellowship, service and leadership.

Phi Theta Kappa Awards

NAU recognizes your academic achievement and Phi Theta Kappa membership.  Our PTK award is open to students who are currently attending a two-year college and who will be attending NAU the following semester as an undergraduate, first degree seeking student.

To be awarded this scholarship you must be a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

Indicate your membership in Phi Theta Kappa on your admissions application to be automatically awarded the scholarship.  If you do not receive it automatically, please contact Derek Sundquist at Derek.Sundquist@nau.edu

Arizona Residents are eligible for a $500 tuition award per year; renewable one additional year based on maintaining full-time enrollment at NAU as an undergraduate, first degree seeking student and 2.5 GPA.

Non-Arizona Residents are eligible for $5500 tuition award; renewable one additional year based on maintaining full-time enrollment at NAU as an undergraduate, first degree seeking student and 2.5 GPA.

Students participating in the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) and Worldwide University (WWU) tuition discount programs are not eligible for the Phi Theta Kappa awards.
